We are partnering with a Korean AAA developer to spot an experienced HR Director to spearhead their HR team. This role reports to the Head of the Studio and requires experience managing complex HR topics as well as developing HR strategies for AAA studios.
What the role involves:

Establish and Implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision for the Studio

Act as a strategic business advisor to senior leadership inside the Studio as well as in HQ regarding key organizational and management topics

Understand the policies of HQ and effectively communicate them internally, as well as incorporate them into the HR policies for the studio

Assess, design, implement, and oversee the talent management strategy (Employer Branding, TA, L&D, Performance Management, C&B, EVP, Analytics, and Reporting)

Evaluate and implement different types of controls to manage risk and maintain compliance

Adapt corporate strategies and define structures, procedures, and technologies to handle change in current and future business environments

Provide leadership and guidance to the HR, TA, and Relocation business units by overseeing talent acquisition, talent management, talent development, payroll, compensation and benefits, risk management, compliance, and organizational structure management for the Studio

Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Mediate disputes and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations whenever necessary.
Role requirements:

5+ years in an HR Director role or similar in AAA video game companies and a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resource Management

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field

Extensive experience and knowledge in talent management practices and tools

Full mastery of the English language through either upbringing or advanced education

Experience leading HR teams on a global scale

Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels of the organization

Deep knowledge of the AAA game industry ecosystem

Must have soft skills to perform HR tasks neutrally, objectively, and analytically.
Desirable:

SHRM-SCP or GPHR certification

Proven track record of scaling operations teams in the game industry.
